Dedar

Dedar Milano is a family-run Italian company producing premium interior fabrics, fascias and wallpapers. The brand name is an acronym made up of the words DEcorazione D'ARredamento, which translates into Russian as 'interior design'.

The brand was founded in 1976 by Nicola Fabrizio, president of the Italian interior design industry, and his wife Elda. The production is located in Lombardy, the region where the country's textile industry was historically developed. Local factories have reached the heights of excellence; Italian silk is particularly prized.

The peculiarity of Dedar Milano products is the use of the most modern technology of fabric manufacturing and processing. The brand offers not only impeccable design, but also high-tech solutions, such as wide fabrics. The range includes non-flammable and vandal-proof materials as well as outdoor fabrics for outdoor areas such as patios and pergolas.

The fabrics have won prestigious awards several times, including the "Best fabric of the year" by Elle Décor magazine.

Since 2011 Dedar Milano is partnering with Hermès in the production of wallpapers and textiles. Dedar products are chosen by leading design and architectural offices around the world: the brand's fabrics are used to decorate the best hotels, restaurants, embassies and private residences in Paris (Costes), Dubai (The Skygardens), Las Vegas (The Robuchon), etc.
