Pierre Frey

Pierre Frey SA is a French fashion holding producing luxury interior textiles, carpets, wallpapers and upholstered furniture.

The company was founded in France in 1935 by the designer Pierre Frey. Today it is co-led by the founder's son Patrick and grandsons Pierre, Vincent and Matthew.

In 1976 the brand joined the Comité Colbert, an association of French luxury manufacturers and 14 cultural institutions.

Pierre Frey designers have access to the richest archives of fabrics and drawings, from which they draw inspiration. They boldly combine historical ornaments and modern trends, and continue the centuries-old tradition of textile production in France. Today the brand's catalogue has over 7000 articles. It is updated twice a year.

Pierre Frey's clients include museums and other cultural institutions, prestigious hotels, palaces, as well as major designers and decorators. The portfolio includes the decoration of the Elysée Palace, the French Embassy in Beijing, the Ritz Hotel in Paris and Miramonti in Avalengo, Italy.

All products are made in the company's own factory located in the north of the country. The fashion house also produces collections under the Braquenié, Fadini Borghi, Boussac and Le Manach brands. Each has a long and illustrious history.

Braquenié is a renowned rug and tapestry manufacturer with a history dating back to 1824. Its printed fabrics and silks have been commissioned by all the royal courts of the Old World. Among other clients were Hugo, Chopin, Rothschilds...

Fadini Borghi is an Italian manufacturer, which became a quality standard at home and all over the world. The brand was born in 1975 as a result of the merger of two factories, the last names of their founders - Fadini and Borghi - made its name. The speciality of the brand is silk.

Boussac is the most innovative brand in the Pierre Frey Group. Founded in 1934, the brand from the beginning headed for the development of modern technologies. The Boussac collections always offer new materials and fresh solutions.

Le Manach is another old French manufactory, founded in 1829. It is one of the last European manufacturers, making silk and velvet on traditional looms. The company has been awarded the national Living Heritage Award.
